Those small gestures that are bigger than anything else...
I was lost somewhere beyond and far,
when a small hand stretched out and the scene was marred.
I looked up to see who scrutinized me.
A small girl confused yet filled with hope,stared back at me.

I felt irritated with pity at that small creature,
Who for no mistake of hers was maybe left with no future.
I checked for coins only to find a wad of notes.
Gave them heartily so as to eradicate disturbing thoughts.

Little did I know that my heart would burst,
with her small gesture that would entitle her, among all, first.
For as I was lost again somewhere beyond and far,
Her small hand stretched out with the rewarding food,giving me a share.
