Want the heart wants, but can't have.
The aching heart
The aching heart
Wants what it wants
For you to see that
It would take a miracle
From dying one day
To rising again

The aching heart
Waits for you
As you taunt it.
From the darkness
It hurts and hurts.

The aching heart
The way it cries in the night
To being happy in the day
Coming out into the light
It fades away.

The aching heart
While it fades away it thinks
Could things have gone better
It tries one more time
Hoping things will go better.
Every time it goes back

The aching heart
It asks itself
What is love?
I really don’t know
Help me with this.

The aching heart
I need to know
It’s important.
Relationships depend
For this

The aching heart
I still don’t know
I have to get him
It's breaking me
It hurts inside

The aching heart
I walk outside
To see him
Walking to his house.
After I see him
Hoping I would again.

The aching heart
I see him everywhere
In my dreams
In my head
In my soul

My aching heart
I go outside
Hoping to see him again
He’s not there
I fade away
Once more

The aching heart
I can still see him
It’s in the afterlife
Hoping I will fade back.
Waiting

The aching heart
Waiting to get out of here
Hoping, waiting
Never going back
I will still see him
Everywhere
