The mind of a killer.
In a town that could have been any town, in a house that could have been any house, the Killer stepped easily into the bed room of Trisha Parker as easily as if he had been there a hundred times.1

"Hello love." The Killer smiled easily as he sat on the edge of the girls bed. On the small coffee table beside her bed sat pictures of her growing up. Awards she had one, from Miss. elementary, to Prom Queen. She had grown up well, lavished and loved by many. But now, she was tied to the bed with duck tape around her wrists, ankles and over her mouth. Small red cuts that had scared over puckered out on her stomache just above her navel.2

"I have good news." The Killer spoke absently, "I saw Tom on the way home. He was over at Viv's, having a happy little reunion I assume," He laughed. "But you know, I don't think he's going to be that happy when he returns home. I mean, there's going to be blood everywhere. So messy. And you, well, I wonder how he's going to feel when he walks in here and finds you...mostly dead. I bet he'll feel guilty. I bet he'll tell himself, 'If I had just done one thing right, she might still be alive." He laughed as though it were funny. He paused only to smile at the frightened look on the girls face. "You know, I never understood guilt. Why feel sorry for smething you van't change? Life happens. Just deal with it and go on. We all have jobs to do. For instance, Trishy lov, we both have jobs. Yours is to entertain me, and mine is to, well, kill you. I suppose, however, our jobs will be coming to an end soon and at least one of us will have to find a new one." He laughed slightly. "I'm sure Tommy boy is on his way. Which doesn't give me much time. I've enjoyed our time together love, but, you know the saying. All good things must end." The Killer laughed loudly and it rang through out the room, sending the girl into a frantic struggle as he climbed atop her one last time..
