This is a poem I wrote after trying to write the introduction to a novel.
A novel of never ending possibilities

the pages there before me
the haunting words swirl about my brain
I attempt to sift through them all
they turn into a giant mating ball of anacondas
ferociously biting and constricting one another
amongst all of the confusion
I forget to move the pen
to write the words
instead
this novel
will be published empty
a novel of never ending possibilities
