A young man desperately in love creates a dream world for he and his love interest
I sat at the foot of the bed
My head in my palms
Just staring at you
I felt so stupid

I close my eyes
To clear the pain
And open them to you
Then suddenly It's changed

You lay beside me
So close, I can feel your breath on my face
So warm, and so punctual
I slide my finger down your cheek, gently

Your eyes start to flutter, softly
Your mouth curves
And then, like a message from heaven
I see your eyes

Silent stillness
We wait as we both gaze into each other
I brush a strand of hair behind your ear
Thats when you bolt under the covers

I follow you, grasping at your body
My arms wrap around you
My fingers gently dig into your ribs
And you cant help but fall to the floor

We topple, for what seems like ages
Finally lying still on the carpet
The ceiling is our starscape
Our heads pressed together

As my head turns, I cant help but kiss you
softly on the head
This is my heaven
This is my world

We both have things to do, places to go
But for some reason, we stay still
You whisper in my ear, to never leave
That we should stay here forever

I laugh, in that way you say you love
I try to argue, but I can't
Your idea is infectious
I feel your hand clasp mine

I know no matter what
Regardless of what may come
There is nothing I'd rather do
Then wake up every morning, next to you
