Fourth Week of the 5-part series.
Roses grown from the heart now stand
together in triumph, waiting for time to
ticks its final moments away.

A fog settles around them, and drops
of dew wash away the stains left by
a mourning landscape in which they live.

Now, he looks past her beautiful smile,
deep into her beautiful heart where warm
love waits for him to bathe in it.

Showering his cold, lonely rose in such a
rain found only falling from the lips that
cover her smile like silk around the sun.

Within this fog he reaches his hand into
her chest and slowly wraps his frozen
fingers together to warm them.

Though he knows a dream is all that
is offered him, his heart feels hers
beating along with his.

Sending warmth over minutes and miles
comforting the small garden that has grown
in his heart, grown by her green thumb.

Within him flourishes a beautiful bouquet
of flowers in which none but her can tend and

as night falls, each petal now forms his lips,
waiting for her sweet taste to wish him good
night, and send him to dream of her again.
