SHE MINER



She, a miner

Dug and dug deep

But there was no gold to be found

Nevertheless, she dug still

Optimistic

Shattering my heart

Its pieces, scattered,

All over her field of desperation

Eager for the gains

A miner gets from the mine

And I, the mine.
