Date rape drug from different perspectives
I lay on the bathroom floor,
numb and cold
watching him leave the room
glass in hand

I carry the glass
handing it to the woman at the bar

I take the glass
laced with G
and sip, innocent and unsuspecting
I follow him to the back room

I lead her to the back room
catching her as she falls
resting her against the seat
of the grimy public toilet

He places her next to me
but i am too numb to sympathize
when she awakes, she will be numb

He takes me, i am asleep
into a different room, i know i will not remember
when he is done i will wake up

I take her to the other room
warm and dark
I know she will not remember

She is gone, now, he has taken her
but i dont remember her leaving
I want to shower but he will hurt me
when she wakes up, she will know
she will be numb and cold
she will lay guilty, suspecting
shy will try to shower, and he will hurt her
and when we leave
she will be scarred. like me

I wake up on the cold floor
it is dark, and i am numb
there is a cold body next to me
it awakes, and we climb outside
we walk a little, then we cry
we don't remember, but we will never forget.
