this is a small bit of poetry showing the consequences of vengeance.
As I watch the birds flying
I feel that so shall I
Peace is coming
But I still sigh

Pain is flowing through my body
Unbearable and strong
Darkness is filling as the light is fading
What have I become

My enemy lays
Lifeless and cold
Deserving what was given
But as I see him I begin to feel old

Death will be the payment for what I have done
I threw away everything
My poor family
My poor love

My life, my beliefs, and my cleanliness
lost in the quest for vengeance I suppose
I held back nothing
All because of my greed and loathe

As I look at what I have done
I began to see my wrong doing
I try to find relief as grief overcame me
But nothing seems to be soothing

The only thing left to do is close my eyes and await for death
I can see him coming
And I think he knows for me what's best

The payment for revenge can be worse than it's satisfaction
In the end you may win
But your cause will be lost in you actions

I lost everything
But I will not fuss
I learned something
And that's a plus

As I write this
I want you to remember
Live and let live
And your life will not be slender

If you go for vengeance
Your cause will be lost
In the end you may win
But you will never quench your vengeful lus
