If lullabye's were all that you had, what would be your story?
Hey Diddle-Diddle, I want you to know,
when you play on your fiddle you make my heart roll.
Your childish lullabye is all that I have,
and really if you ask me I think it's quite grand.

My childish nature has not been out-grown,
and for that I suffer and am all alone,
So hey Diddle-Diddle,
you're all that I have,
so keep at your fiddle to ward off my sad.
