A love poem to my boyfriend.
Love has never been a game for us to play,
thy lover's heart is a treasure, not a toy,
When the heart is trifled with there's a price to pay,
Without airs, love is full of hope and joy,

So I beg of thee, be honest and play no game,
I'll keep your heart safe, so do the same for mine,
No dice, no cards, lest our love be put to shame,
Let us never see the game's bitter warning sign,

Don't be a player, I promise not to play you,
Players are nothing but pain and heartache,
Real love is how I feel and I'll always be true,
If you only ask, all else will I forsake,

I shall guard thy treasured and tender heart,
So glad we played no games from the start,
