This is a letter written to myself for the Dear me contest.
January 15, 2011

Dear Me:

You’ve emerged victorious from the ashes of your history. This conquest should be easy in comparison to your personal accomplishment. You’ve acquired the quality of a leader and the skills of a mother. To achieve your goals, use your words to move mountain and your writing to better society. Use your rhymes to change young mind and your syllables to make a difference. You're a Children and Poetry Publishing Author in the making. Now take action and make your dream happen in 2011.

Begin a weekly routine to record your writing immediately. Pick a topic close to your heart and allow your mind to create an imaginary place. Let your fingers and key board do the talking. Don’t worry about spelling check just yet. There will be time to prove read when your story is finish. What you have wrote so far are powerful and effective. The inadequacy comes in the form of grammatical error. By Summer, you should seek the advice of a College Professor to refresh your grammar and tense. You need to inquire the options of an Agent or Self-Publisher by December.

2011 is your year to shine. The sky is as clear as the moon and the sun is as bright as the star. I can hear the clock ticking. Your career is ready to launch.

Love always,

Your Best Friend
