We often write our best when we feel we are at our worst.
Creatively I'm struggling.
As my mind actively runs around in its normal pattern,
I'm trying to free up just enough RAM,
to download this next great rhyme to a hard copy.
Dammit,
I lost it again... I should've back that one up when I had a chance.
I'm dancing around the firewalls of poetic pitfall,
But my format just doesn't seem enough to satisfy my own criticism.
I keep rebooting my brain,
tryin to refrain from repeating old issues,
keeping the old cookies from clogging up the mix.
I wish I could fix my mental windows,
So that the viruses that keep getting in,
can't keep me from reaching my goal.
Hmm.... maybe this is what I will do it.
I'm going to save my thoughts,
refresh my memory,
and go on standby for a minute.
Maybe by then I'll have something to say.
See yall in a bit,
dot dot com.
