Just a poem I wrote.
An awkward silences
Stretches endlessly across this
empty room
Two unoccupied chairs sit
in the middle
Where we're sitting
while we watch each other

Eyes closed, I count to ten
When I open them, I expect to start over
But your face is destroyed by bloody tears
Without a word exchanged, I know it's my fault
That there's no chance to begin again
Because there's an awkward silence
Stretching endlessly across this empty room
with us two in it
