An insight into the training process used....
The night, the solitude, the refuge, the strife,

What fire burns within your sight?

Sleep -- prayer -- war --

The stars, the moon, this hunter's light.

Every scar a story told, every mark a buried tomb --

What iron or ivory lost can bear witness to what is left?

When every move -- a demon's hand --

Through what saint's heart can one be defined?

When beauty and terror meet elegance, grace, and horror,

When blessing meets curse and wretched meets redeemed --

To know the taste of victory, to savor the cup of defeat --

Trained for harm, with intentions for peace --

This river flows, embedded within,

A chance to shine, this burden within,

Good Book by grace, save this forgotten soul,

You are the Beginning and End --

What display of light in this darkened rhyme?

Hungry I move, for You this final road,

Light up this night, let Your glory finally shine....
