A poem about going blind.
From Sight to Night

Once the world was nice and bright,
But now I only see the night,
Only in my dreams, vivid and light,
They tease me with perfect and clear sight,

Then I wake only to find,
It was just a dream within my mind,
And to me it seems completely unkind,
To give me such a taste where it all shined,

Only to realize that I am still blind,
