Poem i wrote after grand mother died
One Last Gift


I was given one last gift

It's not one you can see

Its not a gift you buy in a store

Because it lives in me.



It's a gift that is in my blood

that my grandma gave to me the day she left

the earthly realm to travel on the waveless sea
