This poem was inspired by my six year old son.My little man whom I love dearly
Fluttering around like butterflies.
Little footprints scattered all across my heart.
A part of me walks outside of me.
Laughter filling up this house.

With you,I am but a child
so inoccent.
I realize.
Your glow seems to hypnotize.
All the love that flkows from a mothers eyes.

Unbinded and free.
Never haulted or confined.
A love unconditional.
I hear the pitter -patter of your feet.

I see a birth inside your smile when something is so new.
The way you say"I love you mommy"
Makes all the hardness of my day retreat.

At night when fear surrounds you,
My arms are there to console you.
A calming song I sing to you.
You believe in me to make the monsters disappear.

Oh little boy of mine.
I will love you beyond forever.
Within a mothers eyes.
Is a bond so tight and dear.

Lay your sleepy head on my shoulder
and I will carry you for a while.
No matter how many miles.

I will kiss your wounds when you fall.
I will wipe away that tear.
Hold your tiny hand through each and every year.
