Story I

The sun was shining relentlessly and Susan knew she couldn't keep up with him much longer. She stoped for just a second to catch her breath but instantly he turned to tell her to keep up. She nodded and continued. She was burning up and also starting to feel quite sick. It had been a while since she'd walked this far. She knew that if she'd look back she'd no longer see the cottage from which they'd started early the same morning. Up ahead lay an enormous forest. The leaves were in the midst of changeing colour and you could see a lot of yellow and orange among the green. The forest seemd neverending and Susan wondered how far they'd have to walk to get to the other side. At least she'd finally get some shade. She'd been sitting on a large stone and streching her legs wondering if they'd bee walking all day- again. Yesterday they hadn't taken a single pause longer than three minutes and she feared this day would be the same. When he suddenly reappeared behind a bush she instinctivly jumped up getting her foot stuck beneath a root and falling straigt on her face. Luckily the ground was soft and helped her landing. Normally her falling reflex would have pushed her arms forward in such a situation but that didn't work when your hands were tied behind her back. She tasted dirt and her face felt like someone had used it as a ball plank. It took him but amoment to drag her to her feet and then they carried on. The forest seemed neverending and as the day passed by and turned to night Susan felt her hope slowly fade away. She could try to run away when he'd fallen asleep but she knew that cold be quite hard since she was having trubble keeping her eyes open. Also where would she go? She doubted the fact that there was a house on severa miles radias...
