Once long ago
Once long ago there lived a group of people that liked to keep themselves secluded from the world around them. They practised their religion away from others because in the past others had longed to gain power from what they believed.  For through their worship their wishes are granted by god, so because of this only the good minded are allowed into the religion.

But in their little group a boy grew up with aspirations for greatness, to raise his religion above but to only let those who are loyal to him to learn his religion. He grew greedy and in secret he prayed to the darkness to control the fellows in his religion so he could take control of all. Eventually everyone was under his dark control and he started to take control of the surrounding areas and towns.

But as with all things as well as wishes there are prices to be paid for everything and his price would be heavy to pay. And just when he reached the peak of his power the gods spoke to him.

“For us granting your wish, your desire to control and dominate all, there is a high price to pay. The your soul and that of you closest followers as well as those who follow our religion. Because of your dark desires we will abolish our followers so that no-one will pray to us anymore and we will fade away into the darkness.”

With that said the sky shone with light and the gods tainted by the darkness of the mans wish descended upon the earth. Their former glory turned black and dark, with hard dark eyes they began to destroy they surrounding country. And the last to die was the man who made the dark wish that tainted the gods he had worshipped, and destroyed the world he had made from it.

His ashen face and tear stained cheeks stared blankly at the ruins of his world and at the wrath of the gods he had worshipped.
