This poem is about being restricted from speaking your mind.
The words are there,

but they are hushed.

I open my mouth to speak,

yet I cannot.

My words are

as the butterfly in the cocoon,

yet they cannot break free.

Like a treasure undiscovered,

are all my unspoken words.

My tongue

has been witheld from my use,

and my voice has been restricted.
