Another children's poem I did the idea was sparked by a newspaper article.
Down in Florida the crocodiles glow,
some say it's due to all the platonium.
At night there are neon crocodiles going against the flow.

They swerve away from the floating lightbulb sized crumbs.
Lost in murkiness, their water smarts are gone and they're a little slow.
Gliding around they try to keep things clean, their no bums.
Trees weep at the destruction and to see humans sent to the gallows.

The crocodiles grow weary and decide to see where these crumbs are coming from.
To concentrate on their plan they dive into the murkiness to see clearly below,
Finally a decision is made to collect everything in a big drum
and destroy the toxic crubms with powerful blows.

Weeks went by and they hammered away until the crumbs didn't come.
The water was clean and they let it emerse them and carry them it its flow.
