I am a service technician. This one is about one of my random customers.
As I walk into the house, I see the man on his bed
Just sitting there quietly with his hand on his head
He's sad I can see and his life is near done
Remembering his youth and the time when it was fun

So sad as it is, he gets enjoyment from t.v.
So sad as he thinks of his time
So sad how he looks, yelling at his wife
I can't help but think will this be mine?

I can see in his eyes, he was a strong man
But now he can barely walk
I shake his hand and say, hello
His words are well above talk

Yelling his thoughts for the world to hear
Bitter with what's happened in his world
Thinking today he will not last to the night
Making sure it's down to his word

So mad at everyone, stops speaking for a time
And his look is that of depend
Someone please help him try to win his fight
Before it truly becomes his end
