To try to know me
If the Skies were painted Red and Black for Anger and Pain,
You could not aspire to know me.
If the Seas ran the deepest Blues and Purples for Calm and Understanding,
You would not grasp my views.
If the Verdure grew Pink and Yellow for Love and Nicety,
You could not feel as I do.
If the Moon turned Brown and Green for Lies and Lust,
You would not pick up on my deception.
And if the Sun blinked White and Gray for Loneliness and Fear,
You could not get why I stand so tall.
Do you still wish to know me?
