One lie, one throne.
On stone she sat,
her throne for now.
Wishing that
her furrowed brow.
Would burn the sky
and make it bow.
One untruth,
her earth to plow.

At brook she stared,
a babbled song.
In her mind
a voice so strong.
"Come run away
down paths so long.
Don't look back
you've done no wrong."

And so she ran.
Lost to the wind.
No mind paid,
a brand new skin.
Her course was set,
a soul to win.
Eyes closed tight,
transported grin.
