One should never kiss and tell.
Good-bye, she said,
as the morning rose;
dressing slowly,
of slender pose.
mockingly
teasing me,
entreating and
misleading me,

so gracefully,

depleting me.

Good-bye, she said,
as she donned her clothes,
her sweater, her shirt,
those pants;
and goes...

She no longer tempts, or masquerades,
the flesh I kissed and
so near I laid,
and named my own
the night before,
now has fled,
now has gone.

But as she left, I knew not what to say,
a good-bye, I thought,
would just drift away -
upon deaf ears,
before blind eyes,
so I said, to my surprise…

“I’ve had better.”

And, guys… She looked and smiled,
she jested well…

“I’ve been wetter,”

Oh, fuck, I guess I shouldn’t kiss and tell.
