I Would Rather be a Dreamer


I would rather be a dreamer

On any day of the week

Because dreamers know that happiness

Is the truth in what they seek

I would rather be a dreamer

And stare at the blue sky above

Spending hours smiling

And contemplating love

So if I you ever have the choice my friend

I hope your answer will be

That you would rather be a dreamer

That would sit and dream with me
