What I wanted was different from you.
What I wanted,
was a best friend.

What I wanted,
our love to never end.

What I wanted,
you here beside me.

What I wanted,
you didn't want to see.

What I wanted,
is to cry all night.

What I wanted,
I'm beginning to see the light.

What I wanted,
is to have you back.

What I wanted,
my life to be on track.

What I wanted,
revenge would be sweet.

What I wanted,
my life would be complete.

What I wanted,
I really miss you.

What I wanted,
was to say I do.
