a poem I wrote about my mothers addiction!
As sunlight peeks through my window
warming all that's cold
soothing thoughts that last night brought
when raining rocks, they rolled

crashing through the alley's
destroying futures never built
worried eyes begin to cry,
as lies begin to spill

Time so slowly freezes
a moment not soon forgot,
strength begins to roll away
along with raining rocks

questions go unanswered
raining rocks they rage,
beauty truly wears a mask
and with time it surely fades.
