Short poem
It's there deep inside your eyes
a window to see the basis of your lies
What made you think you were so wise
to judge and vocalize how much you despise.

Your words cast a shadow of hate
where I hide and fail to relate
what does this anger create
besides a hole for me to crawl in and wait.

Maybe you should think about the things you say
instead of always trying to get your way
do you think I don't know this game you play
abusing and using me much to my dismay.

So now hear I am standing guard
to the heart you lit aflame and charred
trying to fix the life you scarred
hoping to save the soul you jarred.
