A queen's betrayal.
My holy nurse set these pyres alight,
I am king and she the bride on this hot night,
That nun roused the midnight crowd!
the scribes, the whorers and my daring madonnas
inviting congeries of rosewood and belladonna,

As shadow and flame licked her dwindling veil,
She decreed her marriage to God derailed,
Your king, my husband of yore:
Has blessed me to speak on his behalf,
To tender his words as he breathes his last.

My darling, my body is retiring its bloom,
Dear Juno extends many blessings to you,
(Know that I owe you the sun and the moon)
Know that you, only you can destroy my hurt,
You, once again, be the queen of this court.

Her cadence, that music and her miraculous feast
Burned and roiled this wretched beast
As I peered through that flamed window
My tongue unwound the cotton cloth
That witch embroidered to keep me sloth
