About an odd relationship.
Between the moon and glowing me,
There is intrinsic jealousy
A sense of lust, untrustworthy
Between me and the moon.

She pokes her head out of the night,
And I embrace her lustful light
Which kisses me and bathes me white,
And sings to me her tune.

And if her light took human shape,
I'd make no effort to escape,
But stand in awe, my mouth agape,
A shining, golden loon.

In the night's own deepest part,
I, on the ground, protect her heart,
Her hero though we are apart
and won't be meeting soon.
