I've always wanted to write a bio of Green Day, and I'm giving it a shot
Green Day- A Lot of Meaning
Introduction- World Heroes

“…Sing us a song for me…” Billie Joe’s voice sings. Song of the Century ends and the blast of a piano fills Hall 4 of Glasgow’s SECC. A skyline lights up and a crowd of people who had been waiting for this moment to come, cheer louder than ever before. Some scream, some shout, some sing and some cry tears. But all of these sounds come together to make an uplifting noise.
Then the heroes run on. Billie Joe and Tré run up and down the stage while Mike slaps the hands of fans on the right. Jason White stands happily on the left, Jeff runs to his mic at the back and Jason Freese enters his booth of instruments. Tré then stands beside his kit throwing something aside. Billie Joe stands on a nearby amp and opens his arms to his followers as if to say ‘Join us.’ They blast into 21st Century Breakdown, Billie Joe screaming “LET’S GO!” and every single person having the time of their life.

[MAYBE EXTEND]

Who would have thought that when this band started back in 1987 that they’d be giving people of all ages, all over the globe, something else to live for and that they’d be traveling near and far to the likes of ‘Bonnie Scotland.’ They can rule London’s Wembley Stadium many a time so in many people’s opinion, they could rule the world.
