Tribute to the misunderstood Michael Jackson.
Man-Child

Easygoing smile
Soft spoken voice
Beautiful eyes that held a silent pain
The man in the mirror couldn’t see
The beauty in himself that everyone else beheld
Changes, so many changes
A face unrecognizable
A child inside the body of a man
Seeking to live a childhood he never had
Desiring love and validation
He opened his heart to so many
A shinning shimmering innocence
Duplicity and dishonesty broke that pure spirit
Gentle, kind, philanthropist
Adored by fans and celeb royalty
A barrier breaker
A colorless influence
So many unique contributions to music and dance
The moonwalk, the antigravity lean
Bad, Thriller and Scream
The vocal hiccup and hee hee
A one of a kind voice that will never ever again be seen
A talent on a plateau that no others can reach
Without him the generation of now would not exist
Greatest entertainer to ever take the stage
Beautiful troubled man forever chased by fame
A tragic loss too hard to believe
A world so deep in mourning
Tributes and dedications across the world
From the Philippines to the Apollo
He is the undisputed King of Pop and will never be forgotten
He has eased on down the road to the Lord and now he is no longer alone
Now he is free and at peace in the arms of God
Michael Jackson, King of Pop, in this world you will always live on

Dedicated to Michael Joseph Jackson, The King of Pop
