The morning song of wildflowers ... (Form: English Sonnet)
The Secret Life of Flowers

** Image ID #1726152 Unavailable **

The amber sun spreads its candent glory;
its caressing touch arousing each bloom.
The fields greet the dawn, an age-old story,
with a profusion of their sweet perfume.

The dew turns to mist, in a skyward flight;
gossamer billows, revealing below,
nature's true beauty at last in the light.
With radiant hues, the scene's set aglow.

Morning winds whisper their canorous tunes
as each blossom moves in a rhythmic sway
inscribing its secret in nature's runes,
in praise of the start of another day.

In symbiosis, like links in a chain,
an unending ballet of the arcane.
