The sad story behind TV shots.

I see you

On a screen;

body.

bloody.

Dead.

I look away

and

continue working.

I see you again;

deeply cut

ragged

Murdered.

I look away

and

listen to music.

I see you once more;

eyes wide open

spark lost

Lifeless.

I keep looking,

with music in my ears.

You were like me;

A body

A soul

A life

Dreams and hopes

Why don’t I feel you?

Why can’t I mourn you?

The screen is a siren

You are silent.

The world is a circus

You are silent.

I want to feel you.

I want to mourn you.

But I can’t.

I don’t know you.

Who are you?

I look away

and

continue working.
