Could I lure you
like a fish?
Tempt you with my bait?
Ensnare,
Catch,
Release!
Ensnare,
Catch,
Release!
Your release only coming
when you are totally at my mercy.
And if I set you free,
each and every time
Will you trust me then?
Will you swim to my hook willingly,
then?
When you trust in your release,
and take your first bite of choice,
Would the merits of your ecstacy,
atone for my lack of mercy?
