I define style as an art form; what different people consider beautiful.
Shoes

You can tell a lot about a person from their shoes. Are they feeling sophisticated or casual today? Are they going out to a party, or staying home to lounge? Do their shoes tell a story with the mud stains, rips, and tears? Or are they new shoes, just being broken in and ready to create a footprint of their own?
I think shoes are something to express yourself with, as is everything in fashion. I don’t mean that you have to get name brand sneakers, or splurge at the $5 flip-flop sale at Old Navy, or buy the brightest, most obnoxious things you can find – just be unique. Be yourself. If you can’t walk in heels, don’t struggle to be something you’re not – throw on your flats; walk with confidence. Don’t doodle on your Converse because everyone else is. Doodle because you want to add character and stand out from the crowd. I don’t care if you get your shoes from American Eagle or Journeys or Goodwill – they’re your shoes, they tell your story, and that’s good enough for me. Style is an expression of who you are – so go ahead; embrace it, and show the world who you can be. Good impressions start with showing your individuality. ~ Abby J
