Purity

Pond Poetry June/July Prompt

as you cradle her near,
she drifts off to the kingdom of dreams.

Colorful butterflies dance in golden sunbeams,
amidst rapturous fields, to the music of streams.

This place of silent obscurity
instills, with surety,
purity.
