What to do with a loud dog in the neighborhood.
This furry mongrel has no end
Wasted time is all it spends
Exhaustion knows not this fiend
He's dedicated to his evil scheme

For several hours he's kept it up
As if just one was not enough
Why yell at the land? What will it do?
I'm going insane, I think he is too.

Luckily I had this problem in the past
And found a solution that did last
So from my closet I fished a collar
It holds no charm but a cursed power

Over to the beast I bravely stride
Willing to battle it's meddling pride
With some meat to coax the thing
I put it on and could surely sing!

The owners issued no formal complaint
For all I knew they figured me a saint
Now that dog is quiet as a lamb
For barking requires a shock to withstand.
