As You See

As you see that little seed
Thinking it's nothing
Just a seed
Brown, dirty, and wet
As you see it again
Seed to stem
As you see that little stem
Maybe it will be something
Not just a stem
Green and pale
As you see a glance of color
Beautiful it may be
A tube of life
A sparkling red and orange
Stem to flower
It's a delight
A flower now it is
Leaves shooting
Warm with bursts of flavor
Bright as the sun
Beautiful it is
Dazzling with birth
A rainbow spectrum
As you see that little seed
What shall it become
A treatening thorn
Or a burst of lively talent
