A young girl finds a puppy.
Oneday a young girl named Marybeth was walking home from school, and about a block from her home she found a small golden puppy , as soon as she saw it she picked it up and ran home. She showed it to her mama, Catherine, she put up " Lost Puppy, Golden, lots of fur " posters everywhere, nobody claimed the puppy. Marybeth's mama said that she would have to take it to the pound, Marybeth cried and cried. A week after they had taken the puppy away there was a peculiar knock at the door, delivery, for Catherine and Marybeth, the man called. Catherine , Marybeth's mama, opened the door, there stood a big brown man in a striped brown and black uniform, he was holding a box with a bow on top. Catherine took the box, said thank-you, and closed the door. She sat the box in the middle of Marybeth's room. Marybeth knew it was for her, she ran to open it, in it slept the precious, small, golden puppy. Marybeth was sooooo.... excited. Marybeth said that since it was a boy, his name was Gladiator, a perfect name. Marybeth and Gladiator both grew up and lived a happy life together. THE END
