A poem about being alone.
I travel through the carnival,
The blaring mirror house,
I look to the left,
I see my own mother
Smiling and laughing with Dad.
I look to the right,
I see my own sisters,
Their arms wrapped around some close friends.
I look to my side,
and look to the other.
Nothing.
So I look again.
I look to the mirrors
And see myself stare,
from a hundred million eyes.
Still,
They are all mine.
No other.
