Children chase wayward balloons with envy

Marvel flowers blooming wildly in a ditch
Realize they were planted with purpose - spender lost

Terminal patient shot and mugged in a back alley
Death is not reported because he was due for dying

Dead dog hit street-centre
His master cries wildly roadside
Traffic continues without remorse
