one of my insomniac poems
It seems fated to love a fool
To be used and thrown off
Like a statue I keep my cool
Inside my feelings remain soft.

I search and wish my time away
Trying to find my tender heart
The love and sex of today
Is another form of modern art.

And with the coming of the dawn
My lovers disappear into the shadows
Again I sit with my pen
Trying to fill in the hollows.
