The spirits of our ancestors awaken
The winds serenade your joyful union
The rivers and streams nourish you
The sky canopy blesses you
The snowy peaks are the witnesses
A dynasty of priceless jewels
Of kings who ruled with their hearts
Gross national happiness pervades
Faces that reflect idealistic gratitude
We are truly overwhelmed
And sometimes feel the unreality
Of a fantasy filled dream
May you two be nobly blessed
With mighty inspired little jewels-
And may the dynasty  grow
From strength to strength
From power to power
And may the Bhutanese be  blessed
Across time, across the centuries
And the millennia…
Stalwart, dynamic, dedicated king
Of infinite power and grace
Eloquent speaker, wise statesman…
As the earth infinitely revolves
And the wheel substantially turns
A resurgence of hopes and dreams
Revives our pristine glory
As we forget mundane tasks
And nebulous thoughts turn
To the spiritual and the sublime
