There is a time, I believe, when everyone says "No. I won't be afraid anymore."
Fear


Fear.
It takes your muse-
Power, and will to live.
Makes you question love-
And all you choose to care.

Fear,
Keeps you in the rut,
Digs you in the ditch,
Silences your booming voice-
And blocks the loving words.

Please don't be afraid-
To love unreserved;
And sing to all the heavens-
Of the times you've not deserved.

Write a nonsense sonnet-
Or dance along the street-
Happy, greeting everyone-
You may have luck to meet.

Enjoy a guilty pleasure-
Enjoy a blessed friend-
And live ALIVE each fleeing day-
Like it will never end.
