a strange occurrence happens...
Recently having a bit of trouble writing, I sat down today with the hopes of trying to piece together some of my ideas onto paper, when little drops of color started to fall decorating the page in front of me. Hypnotized by the slow methodical drip, my mind went blank and I couldn’t do anything but watch the paper in front of me develop bright red colored puddles.  I would have sat there a little longer if it wasn’t for the realization that this strange liquid was leaking from my right ear.  Without thinking I stood up, my next destination set for the mirror in the bathroom.  “But maybe this was too hasty of a decision,” this was my only thought as my head began to spin out of control causing me to walk with the gait of a newborn fawn.  At this point I knew that being vertical was going to be short lived and down was the only place left to go.  This idea of falling was eased with the sound of a voice; it called out to me saying, “Don’t worry, I’ll catch you”.  In that moment nothing sounded better than to give up the hopeless fight of standing, so I did.  I relinquished all the control I had over my body and began to fall, expecting that mysterious voice to fulfill its promise.  It was about halfway down when I heard the voice once again. It said, “Don’t worry I’ve got you”, that’s when I realized that the floor was the one talking to me.
As I lay in my savior’s arms I was content for the time being to study the floor’s topography.  That was until the pool that formed around my head reminded me why I was where I was...
