She holds breath in quivering lungs
Lids open like gates
Allowing the light to touch water
A burning union
Her thought is nothing
The vanity entrenched
She stretches to grasp the expanse
Pretentious and suffocating
Erotic and overwhelming
Could there be anyone less deserving of the view?
