yesterday was the last day of summer and these were my feelings
Summer End
The end is here. The close. Ha, it sounds like a bad drama, but no. It's just the end of summer. Sure, the summer heat will stay for a few more months, but summer. Pool parties, ice-cream, hanging with friends, NO SCHOOL. That's summer. And that's what's over. Soon, the leaves will change color, and I will have my nose in a book, studying. But right now, in the late hours of the night, summer is not over. It is still the last day of summer, and I still have a chance to end with a bang. My bang? Writing. Honestly, is there any nicer way to end summer? Ya, there are more bold and memorable things, but is there any nicer way? Summer isn't over. Not until midnight. Until midnight, I'm free.
